I’m a Washington, DC-based photographer and videographer with a deep love of storytelling. Born in New York City and raised in the mountains of West Virginia, I’ve wanted to capture the beauty of real life through photography for as long as I can remember. That passion eventually carried me to the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I earned my BFA in photography, and later to Columbia University for a master’s in journalism.

I started my career in Los Angeles, assisting celebrity and commercial photographers, which gave me invaluable experience in both the technical craft and the art of helping people feel authentic in front of the camera. Since 2011, I’ve lived in Washington, DC, where I share a cozy condo with my husband, Sauleh, and our scrappy little chihuahua mix, Swift. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me exploring DC’s hiking trails, hunting down the city’s best new restaurants, or traveling out West in my tiny trailer.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with dozens of nonprofits, advocacy groups, and businesses, helping them bring their missions to life through photography and video. Whether I’m capturing a conference, creating portraits that feel genuine, or producing video content that moves an audience, my goal is always the same: to create imagery that connects, inspires, and tells a meaningful story.
